These are mild steel (or stainless steel as noted in the drop down menu the stainless ones are no maintenance) so you will have to season them but I made them this way to get the price down. They are extremely sturdy I put 50 pounds on them and they didn't sag at all.
No new mounting brackets are needed. Because of this the top and middle racks are different so they are NOT interchangeable.
